hyerrick - 12/26/2006 I stood outside the Garden that night reflecting on the mixed emotions of what happened to my city and the birth of my first grandson. Like all NY'ers I wanted to do something. anything to help out somehow. I began shaking the hands of the Police and Fire men filing into the garden with their famiilies and friends. I was suprised how "festive" the atmosphere was. My own heart was breaking and I could barely talk as I shook the hands of our heros and said simply "Thank You". I shook the hands of dozens...maybe a hundred and amazingly every reaction was exactally the same. These handsome smiling young men stopped the smile for a moment.. looked me straight in the eye,, straight in the eye and just noded their heads. Everyone the same. I will never never forget
mancsscc - 01/11/2007 A tremendous night is this country's history. When The Who played, you could just see how much it meant to the heroes. Roger and Pete came back for this event and they absolutely stole the show.
zucchero - 05/09/2007 When the worst happens, New York pulls together. This is NYC's defining moment, and since it happened at the Garden, this makes is MSG's defining moment. We were all some emotionally wrecked at this time, yet the best came out this night.
